Okay, I’m sorry to do this again, but I might as well. I’m leaving this blog :’(

But it’s okay, you can catch me on my other blog. Bye for now!

I just quickly want to thank everyone who’s reblogged from this blog, or followed it. You have good taste in movies (and pictures of movies!)!

'Aquamarine mermaid' (by som sol’n förlät)
This movie.. Oh my gosh. I only saw the last ten minutes of it, it was on TV, but I thought it was just so .. I can’t think of a word for it. It was cheesy. The green screen was obvious. But hey, it’s about a mermaid! heh. I won’t be watching the whole movie anytime soon.

If you’ve seen street dance movies before, then this is nothing new really. I didn’t watch in 3d, it came on TV. Worth watching if you’re bored, it’s raining outside and/or you have someone with a sense of humour sitting next to you.

Not a particularly bad film, but not particularly good either. For once I can’t say ‘I liked the characters’.. I liked Jackie Chan but I didn’t like Jaden Smith so much, he was a bit.. ‘ehh' :\ Oh and I haven't seen the original one yet, that’s going on my waiting list, hope its better than this one..

Watced East is East yesterday! Woah I thought it was hilarious. I don’t know what else to say.. The ending was a little strange (I can’t exactly remember what happened though) but the middle was good. It did have a sad scene containing domestic violence though, so its good to be aware of that before watching (it’s a 15).

Watched Bella a couple days ago. It’s a movie from 2006. It seemed very different, almost like a TV program, but the story was soo sweet :} It’s one of those movies which could make people cry; obviously that means It didn’t make me cry, but okay, it did make me feel kind of ‘emotional’ :> ‘Twas a cool movie.

Watched Rango the other day. I like Johnny Depp but I kept forgetting he voiced rango, it’s like Rango just voiced himself :P This film wasn’t bad, I got a bit tired halfway through, so I wasn’t really concentrating, but I liked certain things like ‘Beans’ (the character) and ‘Rango’ himself was actually quite funny and inspiring in a way. I’d say its worth watching with someone who easily finds things funny, but not if you’re feeling tired!

Just watched transformers 2 (yes, I know the third one is out but I have a very long ‘movie waiting list’..). It was kind of worth watching, although I wasn’t really concentrating much, I tend to zone out in action scenes ;]. My favourite line was: “he’s here… I smell him…” :P

Finished reading room on Monday 11th July 201 (or Sunday, not sure..). It was a really good book. It taught me stuff; It was one of those books that really draw you in and leave you a little confused once you close it and head back into the real world. The way it was written from a five year olds perspective was interesting and funny at times, but also kind of helped you to personally understand the story and the effect on the characters a little more (kids are honest!). Without giving it away, it made me smile, cringe, and want to cry at times. The start was good, the middle was interesting and more intense, which I liked, and the ending was quite a nice, open ending, and seems realistic, so the author (Emma Donoghue) did a pretty good job overall. Recommended for mature, understanding people (I’d say age 15+), who like realistic, emotional, unique but captivating storylines.

Boys don’t cry is the last book I finished (on saturday 28th May). I normally find Malorie Blackman books hard to get into, but like how her storylines are always dramatic and real-ish. And it felt different to read a book for teens of either gender from a boys perspecitve. At least it was’nt all about football and all that. Recommended :)

Watched little shop of horrors movie on May 20th 2011. Suddenly Seymour kept getting stuck in my head. Loved the characters but I have to admit the plant scared me when it was fully grown..

About:

Hey this is my blog where I'll review movies I've watched/books I've read and other stuff if you're lucky. You might've noticed I'm keeping it short and sweet, wherever possible. I mean short and shelled. Like in a nutshell and all that.
